Chicago Bears Solider Field
This panorama of the Chicago Bears playing at Soldier Field celebrates over 100 years of play. In 1920, George Halas founded the Decatur Staleys, one of the first American Professional Football Association franchises, which later became the NFL. The Staleys moved to Chicago in 1921 and became the Chicago Bears in 1922, and the rest is history. As of the 2019 season, the Chicago Bears have 9 World Championships, 28 Hall of Famers, and are the winningest team in the NFL. The Bears played their final game at Wrigley Field in 1970 before moving to Soldier Field. The original stadium was demolished following the 2001 season, and rebuilt for the 2003 season while retaining its historic colonnades.
