Minnesota Vikings - U.S. Bank Stadium
This panoramic photo at U.S. Bank Stadium captures the Vikings fan favorite SKOL cheer. This cheer is used before every game, and after every touchdown, and begins with a slow war drum double beat, after which fans clap their hands over their head and yell "Skol"! The speed increases and the chant culminates with a large roar from the Gjallarhorn. Skol is a derivative of the Swedish/Danish/Norwegian word "SKOL", a bowl filled with beverages shared between people and has evolved over the years to mean "cheers". While SKOL has been a part of the Vikings fight song since its, inception in 1961, the SKOL chant with the drum, clap and horn was introduced when the Vikings moved to U.S. Bank Stadium in 2016.
