Oklahoma Sooners Basketball Lloyd Noble Center Panoramic Picture
The University of Oklahoma - Lloyd Noble Center
This panorama, taken by James Blakeway, highlights the Oklahoma Sooners hosting the Baylor Bears in a key Big 12 Conference matchup at the Lloyd Noble Center. The Oklahoma Sooners men's basketball team began play in the LNC in 1975 and, since that time, over four million fans have walked through the doors in anticipation of a Sooner victory. The building currently seats 11,562 fans, but on December 29, 2003, capacity swelled to accommodate a record crowd of 13,431. The University of Oklahoma is home to one of the most storied intercollegiate athletics programs in the nation. However, it's the distinctiveness of the Sooner spirit that sets them apart - There's Only One Oklahoma!
