The Wildcats basketball program began in 1903 and has a long history of success. K-State ranked No. 22 on Street & Smith's list of the "100 Greatest Basketball Programs of All-Time." Located in Manhattan, Kansas, Bramlage Coliseum opened in 1988 and has a capacity of 12,528. Founded in 1863, Kansas State University, originally named Kansas State Agricultural College, is the oldest public university in the state.
