UCF’s rise is unprecedented in college football, from its origins as a Division III program in 1979 to the youngest school to enter a Power 5 conference in 2023. After spending their first 28 seasons in downtown Orlando at the Florida Citrus Bowl, the Knights moved on campus in 2007, and now play in the 48,000 seat FBC Mortgage Stadium, the crown jewel of the Kenneth G. Dixon Athletics Village.
